Pulcina by Michele De Lucchi

With its playful yet clever "chicken beak" spout – designed to enhance aroma and prevent drips – the Pulcina adds a touch of whimsy to your coffee routine. To cater to different needs, Pulcina is available in several versions:

• Traditional Pulcina: A classic choice in 1, 3, and 6 cup sizes, made from aluminium casting with a black or red PA (polyamide) handle and knob. Please note this version is not suitable for induction.
• Pulcina Induction Compatible Red Handle and Pulcina Induction Compatible Black Handle: Featuring a magnetic steel bottom for induction stovetops, this version comes in 3 and 6 cup sizes with either a red or black PA handle and knob.
• Pulcina Black Version: For a modern and elegant statement, the 1, 3, and 6 cup total black matte version (aluminium casting with black PA handle and knob) offers a distinctive look. This version is not suitable for induction.

For ultimate convenience without compromising on style, the Plissé capsule machine, developed with L'Or, offers a seamless brewing experience. Its pleated thermoplastic resin and stainless steel design is available in white

The L'Or coffee machine has been designed to work with L’Or Espresso single-shot capsules and L’Or Barista double-shot capsules, as well as with Nespresso capsules and aluminium capsules from coffee brands produced by Jacobs Douwe Egberts, such as Douwe Egberts, JACOBS, Jacqmotte, Jacques Vabre, Grand Mère, L'Or, Marcilla, Moccona, Saimaza and Senseo.

Some of the Nespresso capsules do not work with our system, especially the non-aluminium capsules, for example, the bio-degradable Nespresso "Ispirazione Emilia“ are in essence not made of aluminium or plastic, but contain bio-degradable materials.

It's currently produced in white only, with British and European plugs, and no further colours are planned at the moment.

Important Usage Note

Alessi-branded sticker

Remember to remove the Alessi-branded sticker Before First Use. The Alessi-branded sticker on your new coffee maker is for presentation purposes only and must be removed before using the item. This sticker is not designed to withstand heat and will melt during use.

What to Do if You Forgot to Remove the Sticker: If you have already used your coffee maker without removing the sticker and find residue, don't worry. You can easily remove it by gently wiping the affected area with alcohol and cotton wool.

Important Considerations for Induction Users

If you have an induction hob, please check the product descriptions carefully for induction compatibility. Models like specific versions of Pulcina, La Cupola, and Moka, as well as the 9090 and Menhir, are designed for induction use. However, ensure your hob can detect items with a base diameter of at least 90mm for proper function. All our induction-suitable coffee makers can also be used on gas stoves.
